Before you start making something it has to be made up, got on the paper and a few real designs have to be made for it. Some of the designs will never get to the mass production. Hartmut Esslinger was the product designer of Apple since 1982. He stood by the brand when it wasn’t that popular. Many of his designs didn’t pass and some of us don’t even know how the well known products would have looked like if the designs were approved.
